CAMO Manager
The nominated post holder for continuing airworthiness will ensure that all contracted tasks are carried out in accordance with the contract (and in accordance with approved maintenance program, on time and to an approved standard by suitably approved maintenance organization).
Accountability
Management of the
Continuing Airworthiness
Management staff ensuring appropriate delegation of duties and control of performance.
Preparation and control of all technically related budgets, in consultation with the Accountable Manager.
During the execution of contracted duties he /she is responsible for (depends of the scope of contract):
Establishment and development of maintenance programs for the aircraft managed.
Manage the approval of modifications and repairs. Ensuring modifications and repairs /changes/ are carried out to an approved standard.
Ensuring all maintenance is carried out in accordance with the approved maintenance program.
Ensuring that the aircraft is taken to an appropriately approved MRO whenever necessary.
Manage and declare all continuing airworthiness records.
The relationship with the Part 145 maintenance contractor(s) and establishment of a Maintenance Contract.
Reporting any occurrences of a maintenance nature to the EASA, CAA and the aircraft manufacturers.
Application and review of the continuing airworthiness management arrangement(s) with the aircraft owner / operator ( as applicable).
Qualifications
Higher education
Type Rated Training at least
level I (aircraft managed / presently A320)
Part M and Part 145 training
Skills
Managerial skills: able to motivate and performance manage supporting staff
Computer literate: able to use office software to prepare reports, write letters, produce numerical data, analyze numerical data, prepare and delver presentations
Communication skills: able to communicate and respond clear and comprehensive with the customers and colleagues
Language Proficiency
English written and oral
